    when SO is sick

So my SO is sick this weekend- just a regular cold/fever - but it made me wonder, is there anything nice that you do or say for your long distance SO when they get sick or that they've done for you? It'd be nice to show up in person with a book and soup, but since I can't travel international for the common cold/fever, I thought Id poll the waters

I made a box of open when letters and one was titled "open when you're sick" in there I put; tissues, Advil, a family recipe of chicken soup, cough lollies, a small toy to cuddle and a movie to watch.

What helped the husband feel better when he was sick was to see me on Skype, so I made sure to video chat if possible

I did this too. I put in TUMS, aspirin, Advil, cough drops, Emergen-C, etc.

I told him I wish I was there to make him tea and stroke him.

And I told him I felt sorry for him. He lived with guys who didn't do much but see to that he was fed, so he actually appreciated me saying that. He still loves it if I say poor you whenever he is tired or sick!
I made love to him only twice, she thought and looked at the man laying asleep beside her. And yet still it is as if we have been together forever, as if he has always known my life, my soul, my body, my light, my pain

Thanks! There are some thoughtful ideas here.

I ended up getting a Netflix account for the two of us and she's already relaxed with Pride and Prejudice haha.

But great ideas for the future. You ladies know how to raise the bar.
