The little things...

I thought we could have a thread where we come and post the little things our SO's do that just make our day? Sort of like the anti rant thread, and similar to the happy thread, but exclusive to things between you and your partner. I don't think there is one of these already going?

This is a nice idea ^^ I was thinking about why there was no thread like this last night, but sleepiness took over :P

I love when my boyfriend texts me 'Good morning' everyday. ^^ It's nice to wake up too and they're really sweet.

To me it's just the whole thought of Andy that makes me happy, he's just the best thing in the world and when he sends me a text just to say he loves me it's all I need to get in a good mood and smile

I knew he'd do it! Edit: He just sent me a text saying he loves me even though we're chatting cause he saw this post! I love him!

This isn't my most recent, but one morning, I woke up to this

on my farmville farm. This just made my month. <3

And most recently, Rane got off an 11 hour shift at his new job, on his feet, and he stayed up extra late to work on my valentines day gift. I wouldn't mind if it was late... but he's determined to get it here on time. He's just so crazy sweet.

Definitely a great thread! Glad you started it.

The way he forwards me some of the recipe and discount emails he gets... I like that he shares those with me. And its always nice to see his name in my inbox, even if it is just a forward. He started doing this after I was talking a lot about new stuff ma and I were making for dinners and such.

The way we can talk about the exact same book or movie..and sometimes we agree so much its scary while other times its like we are talking about two totally different ones that share character names.

The way he closes IMs with a hug and a kiss most of the time...even if he's on the web based YM and has to type them in.

The fact I know he won't judge me no matter what I tell him. I might someday tell him something about me to make him decide I am not right for him, but he won't judge me for it.

The way he sings softly to the songs on the radio or whatever is playing at a restaurant... the first time we met, he was doing that and i thought it was soo cute and he has a nice singing voice. It took all I had not to say something til later on but I knew he'd stop because he'd get self conscious about it.

The way he comes to me for advice when his computer is doing something stupid, and asks my feed back if he gets compared to someone or told something about how he is that he doesn't quite see in himself (he's been compared to House...and rightly so. Plus, he's had ppl surprised he wasn't ex-military at his job.)

There are probably a million more, but I think I will save them for another reply LOL

I get a phone call every night, he calls to tell me he loves me goodnight and sweet dreams (sometimes it's even that short cos he's at work and takes a break to tell me he loves me) And he calls me every morning to wake me up, way better than an alarm clock. Perfect Beginning and ending of every day!

For me, it's the way she can make me laugh even when I either have had such a bad day or when I don't even have enough energy to smile. It seems to reenergize me, and lets me know that even though I've had a bad day, there's always going to be one person who loves me just the way I am.

I couldn't imagine a person who can make me as happy as she does. Even from three hundred miles away, she can make my heart sing and make me smile. I feel so blessed to have her in my life, and no other moment in life can make me happier.

One of the little things that makes my day is how Ky tries to be online each morning (which is hard due to the large time difference between us) to wish me a good day before I head to work. I always start the day on a better note if I've talked to him in the morning .

I love the way he makes up silly songs for me, even though he's not a very good singer

He always listens and tries his best to do what I ask of him, like calling to let me know where he is/what he's doing, even though it's not in his nature to think about things like this.

He loves to suprise me, though I'm not very easy to suprise- I'm too intuitive, especially when it comes to him!

Little things is what makes life more enjoyable!

My baby always makes the effort to say good night, even if he comes home after a super long day, or he is sick, or anything. The way he always care for my special diet, getting me the things I can eat and telling everybody that when we visit I can't eat those things. Whe he kisses me in the forehead, OMG, I just melt. Little things, so beautiful!

This thread took a different turn than I was expecting lol. I thought you guys were going to post specifics, like "today my SO did blank!" ... but since it's more generalized, I would like to join in that too!

When Rane is home, he always takes the time to email me while I'm at work. This means sooo much to me, and brightens up my day considerably. (I check it on my phone and hope I never get caught )
