Amusing Moments at your SO's Home

So, sometimes when my boyfriend and I talk on Skype, something really amusing happens. Today's was the following:

Him: "Oh babe, so the family's new crisis at the moment" - he pauses - "is the toaster."
Given the recent worries of needing to sell the house and move/people trying to find jobs, this threw me for a loop.
Me: "...the toaster?"
Him: "Yes, apparently it will only cook crumpets!" *jazz hands* "Toast is right out."

What funny things have happened while you were conversing with one another?

A lot of the amusing moments that I know of have happened while I was there...for instance:

- His mom watches football solely so she can cheer against Brett Favre.
- His dog likes to lick people's legs. Especially clean-shaven ones. So frequently you hear someone yell at the dog to not lick them.
- They have ninja cats. I'm so serious. All of a sudden you look down and there's a cat in your lap and you have no idea how it got there.

I know there are more, but those are the ones I can think of right now. I love his family.

Lol Squiddle!

You reminded me of one - my boyfriend's step-sister has a pomeranian, and my boyfriend will pick him up and squish-hug him, and the dog makes this little "heph" noise. XD So hilarious. And he comes over to get squished ALL THE TIME

the first time that he and i skype to skyped he was in his room at his apartment talking to me and I could hear Aaron in the background yelling at him, Belvy ignored him and I couldn't really tell what Aaron was saying it wasn't until the end of our conversation that Aaron popped into Belvy's room when Belvy said "I love you" and Aaron asked "Are you talking to me?!" And Belvy replied no I'm talking to Laura and Aaron said "Oh, I thought you were talking to me the whole time and I got a little weirded out when you said you loved me."

I have 2...Amanda has a dog named Otis, and whenever im there, he'll climb on top of me and start humping me for like 10-20 seconds straight, awkward! haha And the next one really has nothing to do with Amanda, but everyone in her family was telling me how amazing her dad was at ping pong, I played em 4 times (when I was deathly sick and sweating like a whore in church) and beat him all 4 times! I was very amused by it

Sometimes when J is watching an interesting movie with his family, he'll bring me on Skype and face the web cam towards the TV. So all of us watch it together! I think for outsider looking in it would be really funny.

Something funny that actually happened in his house: When we were visiting at Spring break, J took me home to his house to get some hot chocolate. He started kissing me as we got through the door and I said "Stop it what if your parents come in!" He told me "They went to a movie tonight and their car isn't in the driveway." So, I let him continue. He picked me up (because he is a foot and a half taller than me) and pushed me against the wall for easy kissing access. Right as that happened the light came on and his dad walked into the hallway.

"Hello, son." He said.
Judsen was stunned and still had me against the wall so I started squirming. "Put me down! Put me down!"
Finally he let go I said "Hi Mr._____" and buried my face in Judsen's chest mortfied.

SO EMBARASSING AND FUNNY!

Before I came up there for the visit I was on video with Alex and his sister came home from work. The conversation was as follows:

Sister: "I'm home."
Him: "Hey! Come say hi!"
Sister: "What?"
Him: "Come say hi to Marian!"
Sister: "But I look like [expletive]!" (she walks into view anyway) "Hi!"

it's normally my SO laughing at my crazy family. especially Max, my dog. He'll hear a loud banging and ask what it is and I'm like "Oh it's just Max wagging his tail against my door) And once he heard the whole palaver of my parents try to make Max go outside to do his business. He's turned very aggrophobic in his old age. So I'll be talking to my SO then all of a sudden there will be a huge BANG, followed by "MAX!! MOOOOOOOOOVE!" then more banging, then hysterical laughter. My SO doesn't even question it anymore lol

there's also a load of geese and ducks that live in his apartment complex, so sometimes he takes me on skype to watch the geese vs duck fights from his balcony. lol

Lol, one time he was cooking, and it started burning on the stove. It was funny how he ran to the kitchen.

Since my boyfriend has a 3 year old sister, there are always funny things going on! We'll be talking and all of a sudden she'll start screaming something super cute or do something that makes my SO get distracted.

I was at my SOs house once watching a film with him, his brother and their friend, his mate was on the bunk above us and dropped a can (closed thankfully) of coke onto my leg, i stood up to give it back to him and he jumped about a foot in the air thinking i was gonna hit him (im what they call a city girl and they are all from small coastal villages) i found it highly amusing to see my SOs loud mouth friend who plays the big I AM, scared of lil ol me for no reason other than that i come from a city lmao!

When we're chatting, the funny stuff is mainly cat-related (we both own cats). Mainly, it'll consist of either cat trying to get attention by rubbing up against our computers. But sometimes, my cat will actually watch what I'm typing and watch the screen. It's really funny!

One time Ryan and I were camming, his image kept getting this crazy outline around him....like a light just around his sillouette. I swear he was glowing....it was like his auroa was shining through! But being as we were usuing yahoo instant messanger, the movement was kinda delayed and everytime I would see it and point it out by the time he looked it was gone haha. Crazy...I was kinda freakin out....funny though at the same time. Now I always mention his shining aurua.....it's like something was telling me something lol
