    Two weeks before I visit

I'm not sure if anyone else feels like this, but the closer I get to a visit with my SO the worse I miss him. It's usually around the two week mark when my anxiety goes haywire. I try to occupy my time with other things but the thought of seeing him takes over.
My anxiety is out of control, Two weeks feels so far way.

Oh yes. The worst times in our relationship is about 2 weeks before a visit and the week after. He just left yesterday and I've been a mope all day. I'm also sick so that doesn't help. We fight more 2 weeks away because we are just on edge from not seeing each other physically. Just gotta hang in there, be patient and try not to think about it like you said

These 2 weeks will fly if you remain busy!

It was like that for me too. Every single time we had a visit. Hang in there, the payoff will be awesome!

        Yes, totally normal!!

We had to try really hard not to fight in the two weeks before we met. It's just the tension from all that time apart building up, my anxiety goes through the roof too. It's like the thought of something going wrong is way too much to take.

Take comfort that he's probably feeling the same! I had to apologise in advance and wanrned my SO that I might go a bit psycho but it's just nerves and once we are together it will be fine. It was!!!

Try and keep busy, easier said than done I know. Everything will be fine

To add to my anxiety this time I have decided to surprise him. He has no idea that I'm going over. Every time we talk I have to talk around it and I find myself at a lack of things to say.
But I am sure it is going to be awesome.

Thank you, it's good to know that I'm not alone in this.

I totally understand how you feel! I'm going down to surprise my SO tomorrow and it's so hard to not tell him. It's like you want to share the excitement, but you can't because you want to surprise them and see their reaction when they finally see you.

Do things that keep you busy and focus on that Maybe write a list of things you want to accomplish before you leave and try to get those done. Good luck, the time will fly by

I'm glad you mentioned the "trying hard not to fight" bit! I noticed that I was getting a bit snarky and emotional about dumb little things right before my visit two weeks ago. I was like "what the heck is wrong with me?". But pent-up tension and worries and anxiety makes total sense for why I was feeling like that. Good to know it's normal in LDRs!
