Hey people,

Only my second post and I'm sorry but I couldnt find this topic. Don't have many people to talk to about this but I'm on my 3rd visit 2 days from now and my "so" is not excited in the least. Instead says they are impatient I'm not already there and the 2 days feels still so far away. Is it me?

Sweetheart, it is very common to feel the distance the hardest right before a new visit. SO is like this EVERY SINGLE time. We have dated 2,5 years

I'm feeling that right now. I am going to visit my SO next weekend just for the weekend and we haven't seen each other in 4 months. This will be our 3rd visit. Each time even though we are both excited, I feel further away because he feels like that we'll be seeing each other soon so we don't need to talk as much so close to a visit, which I get but it makes me feel like he isn't excited or doesn't care if I go or not. It's all a head thing. Nerves, anxiety, stress, extreme excitement.

Consider yourself blessed. That your SO is pining for your presence. Compared to some LDRs' that are 'on the outs'. I am not trying to be critical of you. Just trying to show you the 'happy' side.
