    Long distance birthday gifts!

So the guy I'm dating turns another year older in a couple of weeks. Any ideas on what to do? I'm not sure when I'll next be able to see him and not sure how reliable the international postal service is where he lives!

Don't want to go mad as we've only started dating again recently but don't want it to go without doing something either.

Make him something! Do you have any talents that can be put to use? That way you can give him something really unique and special without spending a huge amount. Even a CD with songs on it that remind you of him, and a handmade card and some candy - that's a really sweet, thoughtful gift that will fit in an envelope!

Make him a CD, that is a combination of the music you like, and you singing something. Sure other music may tell the lyrical story. But why don't you sing it, and also put that on the CD?

Make "open when letters" , a personalized mug ( i did one for my boyfriend he loved it) , cook something that wont go bad during the postage (i made vegan granola bars since we are both vegan and they were fine after a month of waiting for delivery , they were yummy i can provide the recipe if you decide to make food) , send him something yours with your scent on it (i sent him a tshirt with my perfume),send him a plush toy to hug , a couple necklace /bracelet , ldr or personalized phone case there are many options!I wish you all the best!ive done all this myself haha except the phone case

I'm concerned about anything that needs posting not making it there safely or on time. Apparently the postage where he is can be a bit sporadic!

We were dating last year (long story) -and I got him lots of little thoughtful bits that I knew reflected his personality. Nothing soppy - more 'jokey'. He loved it. But I saw him around the time so it was easier. I also recorded myself playing happy birthday on the piano.

I feel like I've used up all of my good ideas!

I'm definitely not a singer! Lovely idea but I'm not sure anybody needs to hear my voice 😂. I like the idea of music that reminds me of him though

Ok, Then one of your favorite music would be fine, too.
