    SHOULD I CONTINUE?

    Hi! I'm a newbie. I'm Cass.

I've met this guy, less than two months ago, in a

dating site and we haven't seen each other, ever, in

person. He's Korean but he lives in Mexico and studies

in Cali. Right now, he's in Korea to finish his

    military service.

"Is it normal to like someone you just met online for

only less than two months?" This question bothered me

A LOT. So I asked him. Yes, I asked him and he laughed

cutely. We were on a video call when I asked him this.

There, starts more interesting conversations. We say

"I hope we could be together blah blah", we're

thinking of ways on how to see each other. We send

pictures, voice notes etc almost everyday.

But he's not that type of a man who'll always send you

sweet messages. I understand that he's busy and he's

tired but whenever I see no messages from him (unless

Im the first one to text), I feel so dissappointed.

There are times that he'll just say "yeah" "yes"

"haha". He doesn't bother to ask me if ive had my

dinner or how I feel or even how i am.

Well, there are times that he'll text me first. For

    example:

Him: Good morning *name*! I'm so tired. Finally got

    home.

Me: Oh Take some rest Jin. Have you eaten bfast?

    Him: Yeah

    The end.

This kind of conversation makes me feel that he's not

really interested in me. Like I said, we're thinking

of ways on how to see each other but that was only on

    the first
days. Now, he never brings up the topic.

I'm honestly getting stressed. I always think of him

and I'm afraid I might fall and no one will catch me

    (oh cheesy).

Conclusion, the feeling is not mutual. I think he's

not really interested in me, so I wrote this long

message saying that I want to end our communication. I

can't post it here. It's a so long message tho.

So, everyone, what should I do? Should I still

continue talking to him or should I send my long

message? Will this really work out?

PS: In August, he's gonna be back to Cali for school.

The time difference will make it harder for us to talk

since I work from 2PM to 11PM (Philippine Time).

The only way you are going to know what he is thinking about your relationship/friendship is to ask him. Communication is key in all relationships and sometimes you have to just flat out ask. A person should never assume what another person is thinking.

Tell him what you need, and ask him what he needs. You can't both be on the same page without talking about it.

So... He does what you ask him to do, he takes a rest. Without chatting with you further. If you dont mean it, dont say it.

Btw, working opposite shifts is the worst. But cherish what you do have. At least you have jobs. Perhaps you can save up for a visit?
I made love to him only twice, she thought and looked at the man laying asleep beside her. And yet still it is as if we have been together forever, as if he has always known my life, my soul, my body, my light, my pain

To answer your question of "Is it normal to like someone after knowing him online for 2 months?" I believe the answer is yes because of how online dating has become a norm now. When I first met my SO I actually forbade myself from falling for him because of the distance between us, but he was persistent and won me over in the end.

Anyway I agree to what the others are saying. You need to tell him what you want in this relationship and if he's willing to work with you on it then that's a good sign. Good luck
