    Am I worrying over nothing?

    Hi, this is my first time posting on the forum but something has been bothering me for a couple of months...

    I've been with my boyfriend for 4 months now, currently we see each other every other weekend. Should hopefully be more often in a few months!!

    Anyway... I have no idea if this is TMI but I'd really like your opinion. When we are together, we can't keep our hands off each other (in the bedroom so to speak) but when we are apart he doesn't show any sort of interest of 'sex from a distance'... Sexting, phone or even pictures, etc. Now, I'm not naive enough to think he is going a full two weeks at a time without getting horny in the slightest, so I image he's watching porn, usual stuff like that...

    But this actually makes me feel really undesirable? Is this an overreaction? I'd like to think that when he gets an urge so to speak he would maybe at least mention it so we could possibly enjoy it together? I really don't know what to feel about this??? Has anyone had this situation before??

    Sorry! Just to add... Before we got together officially, we did do this once or twice so he knows I'm okay in that respect. I did hint once that I missed that type of thing and he said "there wasn't any need for it anyone as we get to actually have sex"

      Have no fear, this is actually quite normal. Most of us have been there. IMO, one we had the REAL thing, the online stuff pretty much stopped. It just wasn't enough anymore. It didn't give us that connection we needed. You should talk to him about it and see where he stands on it. It may help you feel better.

        Okay haha feel better now.
        I'll have a chat to him and see where it goes. I guess it was just the thought of him using other means to satisfy himself when it's something we could potentially do together.

          I posted a thread on pretty much the exact same topic on the adult forum like last week. Head over and have a look.

          But yeah exact same thing happened with me. He is a very sexual guy so I know he is using other means but it doesn't offend me because I'm kinda bored of phone/Skype stuff anyway. Only so many things you can do. So I end up using other means too.

          Just now we know what it's really like, distance stuff can increase the frustration instead of help or tease.

            I hadn't actually thought about it the other way around... increasing frustration, etc so that's really helped !
