Blogging/vlogging the experience

I've thought about vlogging my visits with the boyfriend. I've watched a few other vlogs on YouTube a few times (not ldr, just travel/general vlogs) and I think a relationship of this nature might be worth putting out there; actually showing how we make it work and whatnot. I wish I would've thought about it when I went to Europe and Scandinavia over the summer, that wouldve been an even more interesting vlog to watch. But on the other hand, I'm also really shy and I don't think I have much of an on-camera persona and my boyfriend has even less of one than I (he's very private, he rarely even post his picture on facebook) and I don't think he'd want to be on YouTube. So, has anyone else ever thought of or currently doing this?

I've wanted to do this for ages but always thought my SO was wayyyyy too shy so never mentioned it, imagine my surprise when she turned around the other month and was like oh yeah we're gonna have a youtube channel and post videos in the future. I mean she mostly wants to do gaming stuff since we game together a decent amount and we have a good laugh, but oh man do i wanna vlog stuff. When i was in my first ldr in 2013 i watched this uk to us couple who did a like montage video of their visits and watching them go through it all and close the distance really helped me back then.

My SO and I have a blog together on tumblr where we post pictures and stuff but that's as much documenting as we do about it all but yeah, if i actually remember to take my camera this time i so want to film some stuff and make a nice montage video/day in the life sort of video. I made a video out of all the pictures we took last visit and that was really nice so even if i don't film anything i'm definitely gonna do that again :3

I have watched others' vlogs and videos and it was pretty fun. I think it's a good idea as long as both of you are in for it and comfortable.

Kitty, you guys should have a twitch channel and if you do make one post it pls, I'll tune in! I'm almost certain bf and I will have a twitch when we actually live together, we're both gamers too (we met because of final fantasy )

Oh yeah we should totally have a twitch when we're living together! Us streaming would be hilarious like some of the stuff we come out with while playing makes us laugh so hard we cry so i'm sure an audience would appreciate that. I would love to have a gaming channel with her but i also would love to just have a nice cute channel all about being long distance and stuff. Since either is happening just now, the sappy cute ldr video just go up on my normal channel lol (SO and I met playing mercenaries in Resident evil 6 btw!)

I looooooooooove watching LDR videos on YouTube and even watching LDR pictures on Instagram. So you should definitively go for it if this is what you want!
