    confused how to ignore the comparative thoughts

    i am 19 and my boyfriend is 20
    we started chatting online..i proposed and after some tym we came in a relation...
    he loves me real lot .. he's very caring .. makes out tym for me no matter wat ...we havnt meet as yet.. he's with his family so it's a bit difficult... hes promised me to visit me till the end of the year.. as soon as he gets an opportunity..
    i mokwith everything... but wen i see my friend s hanging out creating memories and doing little puppy luv things with their boyfriend...i start missing him immensely...i get irritated ...i cry... and due to the bad mood make him upset as well ... later on i feel guilty .. for having fought with him .... wat to do... plzzz help me 😞

    Whether CD or LD, there can always be compartive thoughts. This couple does this every weekend and we don't - he buys her this, why doesn't mine - they are always holding hands and affectionate and we aren't, etc, etc. It's never good to compare what someone else has to what you have. Every couple has their own issues they are dealing with, no matter how close or far apart they are.

    It's time to look at the advantages of being in an LDR. You really appreciate each other when you see each other. You have to take the time to communicate because you aren't in the same place. You have the advantage of doing what you want anytime because you don't have someone right there all the time. You can bloom in your individuality and grow as your own person to root yourself as to who you are. Take advantage of the time apart.
