Hi Guys!
I actually haven't been on this website for a really long time. 3...almost 4 years. For people who don't know my story, my SO and I met on Omegle in October of 2010. He lived in Ontario, Canada and I lived in Seattle, Washington. We were so far apart! We got together in November of 2010 and were in a LDR for about 3 years. We both visited as much as we could, we got engaged about 7 months after meeting, we had to go through the entire K1 Visa process since he's Canadian and that took quite a bit of time. Finally we got married in July of 2013 and we've been married ever since. One new exciting thing that's going on with us is that we're having a baby boy! He is due at the end of August and we couldn't be happier.
I just wanted to come on here and say thank you so much to this forum for being a huge rock for me. We had some really hard moments when we were in a LDR and this forum really got me through a lot. I also just wanted to tell all of you that are currently going through a LDR to not give up. You can truly meet your soul mate as I did for sure. Distance really means absolutely nothing if you love that person as much as you do, and that love will only continue to grow because of the struggle of having to be apart for so long.
I wish you all well on your journeys with your loved ones <3
