New to me!

Hello, I just recently started a long distance relationship. My partner lives in Venezuela and I live in Miami. I've never believed in LDR but this time I decided to give it a shot since I'm crazy about this guy, I guess what i'm trying to ask is whats the best way to go with this is, we've known each other for years but just started our relationship. Eventually we want to move together somewhere but in the mean time I have no clue on how to carry this.

Any pointers? Thanks
