Parent not comfortable about the meet up

Hello, Im 21 and SO 29, we met in february and started dating early april This year and have talked about meeting for 3 weeks in september.

My dad then asked if it wasnt too early because we have not known each other for that long.

I'm now wondering if it really is too early to meet up?

No, not at all. After all, if a friend set you up on a blind date or something, you'd meet up right away, right? We meet people all the time than we've known a lot less than you and your SO. You're dad is simply being over protective. How long does he think is enough time, months, years, more? I think you should continue with your plans.
