Well, after lots of chaos, my sweetheart's flights are booked! He's going to be in the US October 9 - December 9th. I'm thrilled, you have no idea. ...OK, maybe you do. Him not having a job ended up working out for the best in this case - he'll get to spend two months with me - living a normal life and traveling around for the holidays (including my birthday ^^), meeting my family and experiencing the US. I am SO EXCITED.
Also, after much discussion, I've set a date to move out of the US - May 20th (for the non-bloggers who may not have seen that). So, we are only 8 months out until I move over to Australia. I'm taking a chance and going over on a Working Holiday visa so we can live together for a year and have a normal relationship. Assuming all goes well (and call me Ms. Positive, but I'm assuming it will, hah!), we'll get married while I'm still there and apply for a spouse visa, or if I get a no further stay condition on the WH, we'll do a few hoops to get me there permanently.
A few hoops for Australia entails either hopping overseas, applying for a visitor visa, and then coming back and applying for the spouse visa, or me going back to the states while we apply for a spouse visa. This means I wouldn't be able to work until my spouse visa is approved. OR... applying for a fiancee visa from the US, and waiting the 6 months to get it approved so I can move back, and THEN getting married. Urgh, if any of these have to happen, but we do what we gotta do.
I have so much to do in 8 months, oh my gosh. x.x
