Have anybody ever done a GoFundMe for a long distance relationship???

No, they aren't received well on here. Everyone here is saving for their own trips to their SO's therefore asking people to contribute to a go fund me goes down badly. I don't know of any members have created a go fund me off of this site. I guess if you're happy with asking people for money then go for it.

I don't think this is a good idea to ask strangers to fund a LD relationship. We all work very hard to be able to afford to see our own SO. I know a LD costs a lot but I think that if you can't afford it or work for it, maybe it is just not meant to be.

I work 60h a week during the summer and part-time during school year at the same time as studying full time for university. I usually can afford only one trip a year for my LD relationship.

I would not give money to someone for a relationship.. maybe your relatives would though.

I just wanted to use this as opportunity to make it clear that GoFundMe campaign links are not allowed on our forum. Most people here work hard to save money for their own visits and to cover the expenses of closing the distance, and it’s not fair to ask them to help fund someone else’s relationship.
