    Fast Forward Button Anyone??

    Hello All,

I'm currently in an LDR. But lately, I find myself questioning whether I should be. My bf and I will be together 2 years in June. He's a great guy, but, between his strenuous academic demands and financial shortcomings. And my jobs and academics (much less time consuming than his obligations) I just don't feel like our timing is the best and that he can give me all the attention and time I need at this point in my life.
It seems as though my hopes are set on the better that I know is guaranteed in the future. It is a matter of roughing out this rough patch and seeing things through. The thought of breaking up with him pains me, and the thought of this damper in our relationship also hurts.
This is my first relationship and he has had previous women in his life. I'm younger and he's older, so we have different perspectives on the situation at times. Communication sucks sometimes. And time is probably our biggest obstacle. Apart from that we are very open and honest with each other and get along well, despite typical personality differences.
    HELPFUL INSIGHT PLEASE!?!?!

    Best,

    #2
It may be a case of getting through this patch to the other side. But I would say the key is talking to him about how you feel. Let him know about your worries, and see if you can work out a solution that works for you both.
Me and my SO have had our tough moments, and we haven't been together all that long. We stick at it anyway, because we know it is worth it in the long run. Maybe you have reached the end of yours? IDK. Think on it, and talk about it. That is all I can really say. Best wishes.
