SO's birthday is coming soon

Help. My SO will be celebrating his birthday on January 16 and I want to surprise him with something. The thing is I don't have enough money to send him gift (with all of the shipping fee and other charges).

Can you give me some suggestions/advise to make his birthday memorable? Btw, he's from Texas, USA and I'm from Philippines.

Poetry, photos you have taken, videos/clips of songs/films he likes, an e-card. An email could include all of those, if you wanted to.

You can even make your own word searches, if you have access to a printer and he had a fax machine...though that may be pushing it a bit.

I made my SO a video for our 6 month anniversary, and uploaded that into an anniversary email.
You could do drawings on paint or similar, and email those too.

Hello, i would say a video with pictures and images. Once I did one to my SO using Movie Maker, it's a very easy tool, and you can put music and inset texts. I know there are other apps that are good too, so you can do some research. Also, you can try to look for a delivery service in the city where he lives, and send him something like fruits, chocolates, a balloon.
