A love/hate thing?

This isn't about you as a couple, or if you fight and make-up all the time or whatever, it's about things.

Is there anything which you absolutely LOVE, but your SO cannot stand? Have you got one each to balance it out? Or is one of you a lover and the other a hater?

With me and Tanja it's football and dance music. I love football, hate dance music. She loves dance music, but hates football...

Mushrooms and olives

I LOVE mushrooms, and Will hates them. The opposite for olives: yuck!

I loveeeeee plain milk, she cannot stand it although she will drink chocolate milk with no problems

she keeps trying to get me to drink tea because she is super obsessed with it but unless its iced tea i wont drink it bleh

There's a few food ones, most notably Lamb (me) and Spaghetti (Obi). Fortunately, I don't mind cooking two separate meals for one evening.

There are non food ones, but I just can't think right now.

A lot of it is stuff that he likes and I hate, since I'm a lot pickier than he is. A sampling includes pretty much any MTV "reality" show, end of the world specials (I'm looking at you "History" channel), and the 24/7 news channels.

I'd rather just read a book. Which annoys him, so if I'm reading while he watches TV, he actively tries to steal the book from me. And then hide it.

But hey, it's part of our dynamic. We're going to have our differences, and they're ones I can live with. TV isn't that important to me.

I LOVE to read and Tony's not really a big reader. The other thing is Jim Carey. I don't think he's all that funny and T thinks he's hilarious. He will never let that fact die.

I love eating cookie dough. My SO thinks it's disgusting. ... she loves eating mince pies, but they look too meaty for me! She's also quite into science fiction shows/books, but I'm only interested in horror related stuff!

I love rice and pasta as well. Think about how much weight we could lose if we hated them though!! That would be great!

Hmm.. I looooooooooooooovelove liquorice and he hates it more than anything probably Erm.. he likes the type of music where they scream and shout (not the only type of music he listens to though) and I kinda don't understand it

Alright... So given that I can only say that he loves mushrooms and I am allergic to them I think I am going to do some digging the next time we are on the phone! Oh... and mountain dew... it's all he drinks. I am not a big fan. *shudder*
