    Top 3 habits that help

    Just curious of other people’s ideas about what their top 3 recommendations are for keeping an LDR healthy and happy. What is most important to you and your SO?

    1. Communication- without it nothing works.
    2. Trust- you need to trust them especially with distance between you.
    3. Your own life- don’t make them your whole life. Make them part of your life. If you rely solely on them, you’ll find yourself alone and resentful for them having their own life.

      Perfect reply! Everything you need to know, right there!
      No 3 I struggled with, but I'm getting there because of No 1 and No 2
      (hope that makes sense... it's early here and I'm tired!)

        Totally agree with the previous comments! I too struggle a little with No.3 but doing my best to make sure I get there and make it happen.
        When they stand before us they find...A force they were not ready for.

          While part of love and trust is simply taking your partner’s word, these little signals make it easier to know you’re in a loving, balanced relationship.
