That would upset me too. But she has no idea what it feels like to be in a long distance relationship. I personally think it's harder to be in a long distance relationship than in a close one. This is because you have to keep the relationship alive and not let it get boring. But don't listen to that comment she said, we all know it will work out for the best

I'd just ignore it. It does suck to hear that kind of criticism, trust me. My two friends make it a point to diss my LDR whenever I bring it up. But I've learned to let it roll off my back and defend the one I love. She just doesn't know how strong your love is for your SO, Karringtyn. =]

I get that people don't always understand LDR's, my own mother was hesitant about supporting me at frst because she thought it would just be problematic - but how inconsiderate of some one to make that comment. Has this person seen the two of you together? That's what turned it around for my family honestly - just seeing our happiness helped them understand this was the right thing for us.Comment

A lot of people telling me this too. I should wait and see if it works out when he lives here, because its different. Surely its different, but that doesn't mean i make the same mistakes as them. Just ignore those peaheads.
