So is it crazy if now that after 6 years of talking online, met up in person, 2 visits and 2 months of staying together under the same roof now he has been talking about marriage and future?
Is it too fast to get into the next step now?

6 years is a long time-I don't think this should be about the standards but how you and your SO feel about taking the next step!

I think if you've managed 6 years long distance, you both deserve to finally close the distance. Talk about all your options, and how you can do it, and what you'd both feel comfortable with doing.

The only other opinion you should be focusing on is the respective governments. They are the gatekeepers to this next step.
