In love, but so tired of being alone, especially during the pandemic and not knowing

We are separated by the Atlantic.. Due to COVID, the borders/flights are closed and I've no idea when we can be together again. Can't stand the wait

It has been difficult for everyone in international LDRs. Governments are slowly loosening travel restrictions so hang in there! On the bright side, we won't take flights for granted anymore. Best regards

Rest assured you are not alone.

There are plenty of others on here in the same situation that can give you lots of encouragement and support.

        We all feel your pain!

Lots of support here if you need it.

I'm right there with you. We've been apart for 17 months now, and it's eating away at us both.

I understand completely. I was supposed to move from Australia to New Zealand to live with my partner in April, but COVID has delayed this for who knows how long. We haven’t seen each other in person since February. It’s so hard not being able to touch (I’m with you about the loneliness!) or continue with our plans, but we are trying to stay positive as best we can.

I can relate, and I guess many others can... My birthday was a few days ago and I would have spent it with my SO if there was no lockdown... we just have to wait and wait... and we don't know what for.
Why am I always trying the impossible?

This sums it up exactly. We're all waiting open ended, with no guarantees. The situation changes daily. You can't build on shifting sands, yet that's what we're expected to do. Is it any wonder I'm going through a breakdown!

Absolutely know where you are coming from, plus my OH is expecting to lose his job in the next few days and there is no furlough in India and he has parents to support so stressful times ahead with no extra money for travel on his side. Hardest time for me is when you see couples doing coupley things and you wish you could be doing the same
