One year anniversary :)

Ok well in 45 days we celebrate our one year anniversary

My SO is a typical bloke, likes computer games films golf playing his guitar etc....

So i wanna get him a gift for our anniversary.

1) Any ideas???? Im completely coming up blank, as i want to get something that means something to him, but he has everything he wants lol.

2)What did you do to celebrate your one year anniversary? I wanna plan something to do but unsure what lol

hmmmmm..... could you make him something? buy or make a picture frame and put a picture of the two you in it.
or make him a scrapbook with all the photos of you guys together, or make it like a story of how you two met!

Clayton and I haven't made it to our 1 year anniversary yet, we have 51 days to go. We have made plans to go to a hotel for our 1 year and just spend all night there with each other

Congratulations! For our one year I made him a fleece blanket So maybe think of something made from the heart

My SO and I's anniversary is in November and I just got an idea for ours. I'm gunna glue five wooden picture frames together and make a wall hanging with pictures of us in it. Also I'm making him an embroidered pillowcase of an inside joke we have. I have a running list of the things he is, So I'm gunna write T is... and then sew on all the words on the list.

He is coming to visit me and we are staying at a hotel for the week which will be great, im not great with embroidery. But i do like card making and scrap-booking so really like that idea, will have a look in town today when i go in that would be really great.

This year I'm making Obi a treasure hunt. I've bought him a series of books that I'll read to him, and instead of just giving them to him, I'll make him find them - in memorable places from my first visit to Canada. If your SO like riddles this could be fun for yous!

I just finished mine and my SO's anniversary present- the music box which I posted here, and I also got a dog tag with the name of the puppy we are planning to get when I'm back with him permanently. As there is no way of us being together for our anniversary, we will probably having a dinner and movie date over skype, then booking a weekend in Ireland for new years as our "big" present to each other =)

I also had an idea which I sent him early- as 1st anniversary is paper (well for marriage but I stole it ) I found a joke $1million bill and wrote of all the things we could do together with the money- like go to Japan, or build our future home

If you are going down the photo root, you could take pictures of all your favorite places, and even just some cute pictures of yourself too. Or you could buy a plain journal and write "your story" like a fairytale or something.

For our 1-year anniversary, I made him a photo album with pictures of us together and apart that we've sent each other in the past year and wrote some lyrics of "our" songs on the pages and glued other small stuff that makes you think of stuff we've done together like receipts from places we've been to and all that. He liked it, and I think it turned out pretty good

That's a pretty.. classic anniversary gift I guess, but I think it's cute!

I'm also already planning our one year anniversary. I have school that day, so I won't be at home until 4 or 4:30 pm. But after that I would like to have a nice dinner with my SO, maybe at my favourite Chinese place, and then spend the rest of the evening at home. All romantic. I also already bought a present, but I can't mention what it is because my SO is browsing this forum too.

We have the whole week together in a hotel, which is gonna be amazing, think ive found a great restaurant to take him too just gotta work on the gift now, gonna create a scrapbook as suggested (thanx again) made up of pictures of us together and places weve been together. Im really looking forward to putting it together!
