That's very nice of you to ask.It's been a rough week, and 48 hours ago I thought we were over. I'll explain another time because it's been shocking and difficult.
But now we are both nervously excited and maybe feeling a little bruised trepidation.
In 12 hours I'll have just taken off... In 24 hours we'll be... somewhere. Maybe sipping a wine watching a sunset over the Indian Ocean, maybe talking cosily in bed, maybe skipping around town holding hands like a pair of lovestruck eigits.
I think I'm more exhausted than excited right now. It's all been very hectic and I feel in a bit of a daze. It's different than I imagined. But I hope that tomorrow and the next couple of weeks will be just like I imagined.
