Newbie and need some advice...

Hi Everyone!!

I am new to this site and so far... LOVE it! I live in Fl and my SO lives in VA where we are both from... Hardest thing ever!! First I have some silly questions... I tried to upload a profile pic and it says failed, but I see the pic under my profile... I also tried the avatar, but have no idea which code to copy and paste and that says failed too... any advice??
