30+ First really sad moment

David and I met in November '12 and have been a couple since new years eve! I am going to visit in 10 days for our first time meeting and will be there almost a week, I'm so happy The last couple of days he's been sick. I've never felt the distance more acutely. I wanted to just be with him, sitting on the couch. Pampering my love through his man cold!! I think this is the farthest he's ever felt from me. I cried a bit after we chatted, just because I missed him so much
We communicate so well, but I didn't want him to feel worse than he was already. I'm glad to have a place to share these feelings!
On the good side, 10 days....wow, I cannot wait!

Steph, I know what you mean about having somewhere to share our feelings. It helps so much. I'm excited for you for your first meeting. My SO and I are making concrete plans for our first meeting towards the end of April this year. I am very excited. I know you are excited.
