*shakes the clock* Come on, sweetheart...

Less than 24 hours until my sweetheart gets here. He'll be on his first flight now, heading to his international connection in Sydney, and winging his way across the ocean to San Francisco, where he'll bump over to St. Louis.

Seriously, the next day cannot go fast enough. I'm trying not to bite my nails or worry. I can't wait to see my sweetheart, I'm so excited! He'll be here for two months, meeting my family and getting to see a slice of America. I'm really excited for him, and us.

    *crosses fingers for smooth travels*

I'm trying so hard not to get anxious here.

Stop shaking that damn clock, you're wasting my day off!!

Kidding Shake all you want. I'm very excited for you!!

Don't worry, thousands of people fly every day. You'd have to be really really unlucky for something to go wrong, so don't let worry eat at you. Go cook him something, cooking makes it all better
Happily married to the little Canadian boy I never thought I'd meet in person

It's been GORGEOUS weather today, and tomorrow is supposed to be even better! I live about 2 hours south of St. Louis. Awesome time of year for him to come! What special sights are you planning on showing him?

Have SO much fun! It makes me feel good to hear other people's stories of being reunited

Yay! I wish Dave could stay here for 2 months, that's awesome! The most we get is 4 days xD When he was flying down here I was anxious and worried too. The 2 hour drive to airport SUCKED too because I couldn't wait to see him :P Have fun!

No plans yet on sites. I've a feeling this weekend will be, ah, mostly inside. *blush*

Next weekend, though, we're going to the KC Ren Faire and he meeting my mom/stepdad. And then we're going out to DC for Thanksgiving. I really want to go to the Rally to Restore Sanity on the 30th, but I don't think I'll be able to afford to go, unfortunately.

Other than that? The usual Botanical Gardens/Zoo/Museum triage.

How often do you get to see each other? See, we get longer times because we only get to see each other 1-2 times a year due to the distance and large expense.

Wow, two months!!! But I suppose there's not much point in travelling all the way from Australia just to spend a couple days together, is there! That's fantastic, I hope you guys enjoy every minute you have together!

I took my SO the the Maryland Renn Faire the other week when he was here in the US- we had a great time!! And DC will be fun too- I've given Scott the DC tour, and after making the tourist rounds we stopped at a cafe where they give you a fire at your table and you toast your own marshmallows for s'mores... he'd never had s'mores before! If you happen to catch a chilly November day in DC I recommend it- it's perfect and romantic! Cosi and XandO are two places that do it
We collided and fell out of nothingness... scattering stars like dust

Out of the 2 years we've been together we've only seen each other 3 times. So not that often =( It's usually every 6-7 months

2 months with your SO? That's so exciting! Try to relax until he gets there. I'm sure he'll have a safe flight and you'll be in his arms sooner than you know. I can't wait to show my guy some of America too.

That's so exciting!! I know Will's 3 1/2 hour flight to see me doesn't even compare to your SO's international flight, but I always hate it when he's on a plane because I can't talk to him at all. It's so so so worth it in the end though!
