I am driving to see Curtis next week. 8.5 hours without stops or 525 miles. I have never made the drive alone. I have a feeling that the drive is going to feel like a lifetime. Any tips or tricks on how to make the drive seem less tedious?

I didn't read the other thread because I am teh lazy(sorry sam), but I shall answer here. I do long road trips allllll the time.
Make sure you get out of the car every 2-3 hours to refuel, stretch your legs for 15 minutes and bathroom. If you're getting tired, do it every hour as it helps keep you alert.
I recommend both music and audiobooks. If you have a good audiobook, it'll take the entire trip up there, and it's engaging without distracting from the road.
Snacks and drink if you can beforehand to make it cheaper helps. And enjoy the scenery!
