How do you and your SO celebrate Anniversarys?

When we first started dating we'd go on dates out
and then for our 1 yr that we met we went to this fancy place called the melting pot
and then after that we knew for sure she was moving to away in the summer we became home bodies and spent almost all of our time together in my apartment.
for our official one year dating she came over really early and we ate, showered together, usual stuff.
for our 14th month we went to the zoo.
ever since we've been in a LDR though we haven't done much except text or try to do some web caming. we do this anyways but our annveraries always seem to end up on days where i'm at work all day or she's at school all day.

maybe someone can post some stuff they do to inspire me?!

I know it sounds silly but we don't mark an anniversary as a date, but we celebrate it as an activity
So to us, every time we ride a roller coaster we are celebrating how we met, so this year our celebration of our meeting is at Christmas because we will be riding coasters and being together, does that make sense to anyone but me? lol It saves us from the heart ache of missing that special date. He does this sweet thing where he constantly talks about the tiniest details of a certain time together, and we talk about how it felt then and how much stronger it is now!

We haven't had loads of anniversaries to celebrate yet.. for our 1-year he'd planned stuff (don't know what though) for us but we weren't able to be together on that day after all, so that kinda failed.. Next visit in a few weeks.. it'll be two years since we met online for the first time but I don't know if we'll do anything special.. might just stay in bed or something We'll see

For our anniversaries we usually have a webcam date that night, and end up watching a movie together. And maybe one of us decides to spend one another a cute gift. Our anniversaries are usually cute even though we can't be together together during them :]
