Welcoming Party <3

Well i thought about that and i already have a lot in mind how i can welcome my SO next year...

i am just curious if you going to make a surprise party when he/she arrives? If yes, how do you imagine it to be? Just the two of you? Or will you invite a lot of people? Where should it be? etc.etc.

And lets just say you move to your SO... would you be happy with such a party? Its pretty difficult to leave the home and be in another country, would such a party make you feel more comfortable? How would it affect you?

I think I would like that party if it were a day or 2 after I got there. But yeah, it would make me feel welcome and it would be nice to see all his friends and family in one place.
Personally, I want the first night to be just us
