So I guess what I'm asking is if your SO cheated on you would you be able to forgive them and eventually move on/grow from it. Or would you believe this saying that once a cheater always a cheater and give up?
I have always said 'once a cheater, always a cheater' but it would all depend on the situation. If my SO cheated on my over and over again with either one person or several...I would definitely be out!! But if it was a once time thing depending on how bad and what the situation was...I might be able to move passed it after some time.
Do you think you can ever truly overcome those obstacles in your relationship why or why not? You can forgive but you can't forget. I think it would always be in the back of my mind.
Also, what do you consider cheating? (In specific words.) I really don't consider flirting cheating but it's a definite NO,NO! Anything showing you are intimately interested in another person counts. Whether it's physical sex, webcam, phone, or sexting...if you are thinking of doing any sexual things to another person...that's basically cheating. It's okay to find other people attractive but once you think about taking it further than that...I have a problem.
