    Ending The Distance Countdown

Since we have a countdown for when we will see our SO's countdown how about a countdown for when you hope or know when your gonna end the distance???

1 year, 7 months, 1 week and 6 days until me and Denise hopefully end our distance, nothing is set in stone yet its more like a rough estimate at this point

Well I'm going to give the long story version.

    Current plan:
-He moves here in February for 6 months
-Returns to his country for a few months to renew visa, and comes back for another 6 months
-I go to Costa Rica with him for 1 year while he finishes his degree.
-We both go to South America for a few years... then who knows!

soo 3 1/2 months til that first part!!! wooooo

We hope to end the distance this summer, but we don't have an exact date yet. So, roughly 6-8 months.

December 14th is our green card interview. If we pass, I consider this to be the date when the distance is OFFICIALLY, end of story, close the book, put it on the shelf, ended, because if we don't pass, we go back to LD for a very long time, which makes me sick.

I plan to go back to Malaysia to be with him in late February. I'll stay there and work on research until he has his interview for his visa to the United States. And we hope to fly back together. So looks like the distance will be closed in 3 months!

He'll be back in the city for 4 months during the summer, and the summer after that. I guess those summers might count as temporarily ending the distance?
But I won't be officially moving and ending the distance for good until probably January 2013.

                  Aww, I like this thread.

Hmm, I guess I don't know the exact date that my distance will end, meaning the date when my SO comes back up to Washington to stay before the wedding. I'm hoping that since college classes end the first week in May, that our distance will close sometime soon after that. I can't wait to find out so I can start an official countdown for that one.

But, barring that, my wedding date's a pretty good distance-closer.

Ita s rough estimate but 1 year 1 month. It just depends if I get accepted to the vet tech program in his city and if he can move out next year.

                            7 months, 1 week, 4 days.
this is a rough estimate and could definitely very by a few days or even a week or two. but... I'll take it.
I know it'll definitely be over by august since we both start college (we're going to the same one) august 15th.
