I know what you mean guys- my sister has had an experience like that too, which is how I know what can happen. She'd just parked her car and locked it, when a drunk diver in a van crashed into her car from behind, sending it to the bottom of the road till it hit a lamp post- it wasn't a car anymore, just a little cube... if she'd spend a couple of seconds longer in that car I have no doubt she would have been killed...
I talked to him last night and explained how stupid it was and how much it had frightened me... I think he'd only been shrugging it off the day before because he knew it was really bad and didn't need me lecturing him about it. He is genuinely sorry and knows it was bad, I know he won't do it again. I know it's also definitely not a habit of his either, so I'm letting it go. I'm just glad he's ok and didn't hurt anybody else either- he's lucky.
