Relax. Breath. You don't have any facts to where your mind is taking you. I'm not accusing or trying to be harsh (I know I can come off that way on accident) because my mind does the same thing. Sometimes I'm just like lady, where did that come from?!
Sorry if I'm missing some of the facts but did you know him when he was doing drugs? Have you asked him about it? Just say hey is that an old friend? Bring it up casually, jokingly maybe. He's not one of the people you used to get into so much trouble with? hehehe. You know?
Don't jump to conclusions and let your mind fester too much. Communication is KEY in any relationship, but ESPECIALLY in an LDR!
