    Flight Booked!

I just bought my ticket to fly to Texas for 5 days!
I will be leaving January 13th and coming home January 17th!

I will be asking questions about flying soon! But any tips will be helpful.

Aww, yay! I'm glad you'll get to see your SO again in the not-too-distant future.

Is this your first time visiting his neck of the woods?

It's my first time flying there. But I've been there before. I drove down there with my best friend for spring break

Oh, okay - so at least you've had an opportunity to visit before. Great! The plane ride will be much quicker!

If you have any questions at all, don't hesitate to ask, especially if you're flying into DFW. That is so exciting! I'm very happy for you that you get to see you SO so soon!

Grats! Make sure you weigh your bag to not go over the bag limit - and check and make sure you know how much in bags you're allowed. Roll your clothes instead of folding them for max space. Also, wear easily slipoffable shoes, and minimize any metal on your body.

                YAY! congrats!

I would also add, make plenty of time to get there, and locate your gate as soon as you are done with security before you wander round!

And also, I always make sure I have all my travel documents- tickets, ID etc all together in one folder, so I won't forget anything.

What airline are you flying with? Some things that I do on short distance flights are read a book or magazine, listen to music, or sleep. I'm still super excited for you!

I'm going to be flying with American Airlines. The flight should be around 4 hours (3 hours 40 minutes). I want to try to watch a movie! Not sure how though cause I don't want to bring my laptop. I'll figure somethng out. I still have a whole month to worry about this
