I don't think we have ever gone a day without talking to my SO, not YET anyway! I'm hoping it will never get to that point!

The longest I have gone without any communication was 10 days when he was on a training exercise. It literally drove me crazy. I can't describe how it felt when I got the text he was back then got to hear his voice again!

When he was working away in North Australia he had no cell phone reception, no internet no nothing! So he could only call me when he went into town once a week or every other week. So the longest we didn't talk AT ALL was 2 weeks...but the whole 7 weeks he was up there he couldn't use internet or anything so we literally had no form of communication while he was out bush. It was the most horrible thing ever, especially when I had to text him to tell him we'd lost our baby...I felt awful but it was the only way I could tell him because I didn't know when I was next gonna talk to him, and he didnt have enough reception to receive calls...only to receive texts (but not to send them himself)...so I knew as soon as he had the slightest bit of signal to receive a text he would get it and go into town to call me. it was the most frustrating thing ever, but it really did make us appreciate being able to call each other everyday when he got back, and also it got us writing letters to each other which was nice
