For the language classes:
Give it time. It might be tiring in the beginnig, but (for me anyway) it's a sort of exponential progress, it'll go very slow in the beginning, but once you got the basics and start to understand billboards and the like, it'll go really fast.
Also I don't know your class, but maybe not everyone speaks English, so it would be sort of unfair if the lessons were in English...
