Visa applications

I am not sure if this post belongs here, but I didn't see anywhere else that it might fit.

I have been reading about all the requirements I need to apply for the youth mobility visa. I found a contact on the website but the online inquires were 'not available at this time"

I know that they only have a certain amount of visas a year. I am hoping to apply in May but am worried there won't be any left for me when I go to apply for one.

Has anyone had this trouble when applying for visas? I am worried that there won't be any left and then there will be no way to get to the uk to be with my SO.

Its a kind of holiday working visa for the uk. It would allow me to be there for up to two years.
