Continental for me! My SO came over here on American Airlines and had such a traumatic time, I've only flown with Continental and they have always been excellent. Plus nice chairs with the personal TV is always a good thing on a long haul flight.

When I was leaving America, I was a mess before I got to the airport. When I got to check in, I broke down again, the check-in guy took all my stuff from me, checked me in and made sure I had a row to myself on the plane even though it was pretty full, so I could stretch out and try to sleep Such a nice man

I've only tried non-US flights and my faves are, JAL (Japan Airlines) and Lufthansa.

I voted "other" because I really am in love with two airlines: Southwest and United.

I used to fly United all the time when I traveled for work. I never had an issue, the attendants were always friendly, check-in was always a breeze. The flights were on time, and always seemed so clean compared to other airlines (US Airways and Continental)

Southwest - well, we've all heard the stories on Southwest. They are simply phenomenal. I was on a plane that made a stop, but I didn't have to change planes. The attendant came looking for me, because she was counting to see how many seats she had left and she noticed I was missing. I was in the bathroom, crying, because my period had started and I had NOTHING. She calmed me down, got me some supplies and Advil for cramps. I mean, above and beyond service. I simply don't think any other airline would do that for me, except United. Southwest is always the airline I check first for continental air travel.

Airlines I hate with a passion: Delta and AirTran. I'm glad Southwest is acquiring AirTran because it means the service will improve greatly. Every time I fly AirTran, I miss my connecting flight, because they are late or have some mechanical issue. Last time, I had to wait in Atlanta Hartsfield Airport, the busiest airport in the US, with a screaming crying bored and squirmy 3 year old for SIX HOURS because we missed our connecting flight because the plane was over an hour late leaving our home airport, due to mechanical issues. And the most they offered us was $8 per person for lunch in the airport.

And don't even get me started on Delta. Rude to me, rude to my child, wouldn't let me pre-board with her. Delta is the only airline that flies nonstop from here to Los Angeles and I STILL won't take the flight. I would rather stop and change planes than take another Delta flight EVER.

When we love, it isn't because the person's perfect, it's because we learn to see an imperfect person perfectly.

True love does not worry about the distance between, for the heart and soul travels through one's words

When two people are meant for each other, no time is too long, no distance is too far, and no one can ever tear them apart.

1 universe, 9 planets, 7 continents, 194 countries, 50 states and 10 provinces...and I had the privilege to meet you.

Favorite? Or the one you will fly because it's the cheapest? there's a difference haha

I voted Southwest because it's always cheaper for in-USA travel, and the service is pretty good. But I'll get on a crappy airline (SpiritAir, Continental, Delta) if it's cheaper than another flight. I also like Taca which is a Latin American airline. They give you food!! UNHEARD OF!

I like Southwest and Alaska Airlines Those are the only two airlines I have flown on. I have more experience flying with Alaska Airlines though!

Well since i am in SE Asia, and i travel budget/backpacking...i would say.. AIR ASIA and TIGER AIRWAYS! i was flying with both.. they're budget but they had very good service! nice plane, and they are sooooooooo dirt cheap! especially if they had those 0 fare!
I use the 0 (zero) fare several time... once i got a flight (all in) from Jakarta to Bangkok for only less than US$3!! and i pay that amount because i had a luggage checked in!

But if you want a normal airways... well i would say...Cathay Pasific love it!

Malaysia Air is definitely my favorite airline. But they are one of the luxury carriers of the region.

Alaska Airlines by far. They are generally the cheapest flight into my SO's city, and the service is always good and I've never had a problem with them. Southwest isn't bad but I just wish they had assigned seating!

My favorite airline is US Airways. Only because it's the only airline that has non-stop flights from here to my SO :P

I usually fly Frontier because they have the best fares, typically. I don't really have a preference. I flew Southwest the last time and I liked how I could check my bags, but I didn't like their seating process. So, each airline seems to have its pros and cons.

My favorite is Southwest airline! I looove them <3 Especially their "get-away" option and their no baggage fees!

My best story was with Southwest. My SO and I hit major traffic (due to a wreck). I was absolutely a nervous wreck because I was running late than the mandatory time to be there. We finally make it there and had to rush our good-byes which made me very upset. The security line was MAYHEM! Even when I tried to get a security guard to help me toward the front, they basically told me "tough luck." Thanks Orlando airport!
The people in front of me heard my pleas to the guard and when I was shot down, each one of them turned to me with sad faces but no one did anything. Finally, one man reached over from another lane and pulled me through to his. He started dragging me through the people, stating that his daughter had to get on the airplane that was taking off in 10 minutes. Everyone quickly moved because this guy was HUGE. He helped me put all of my things on the belt to send through the security and whispered to me that he saw me leaving my SO and knew what my tears were about besides just being stressed. He patted my back and whispered "good luck" as I went through the metal detector. I grabbed my things and raced to my gate. The man there smiled and goes, "Are you Ashlee? We were expecting you Go right on ahead!" They held the flight for me! We departed only 5 minutes late but I was forever grateful to Southwest AND that wonderful gentleman!!

My worst story? American Airlines...My SO and I arrived an hour and a half before my flight (which is normal). We go to check my bags in and the woman states that I was past the time they could check in baggage for that flight. I checked their website later to find that an HOUR is the latest you can check in a bag for ANY airport (except international). She said she could put me on "stand-by" for the next flight at 6:30 AM the next morning...Though I was upset, I was happy to spend another night with my SO. However, the next morning, I spent the next 4 hours being bumped from flight to flight because American Airlines overbooks their flights so there is no way a "stand-by" can get on. I'm 17 at this time so I'm in tears because I thought there was no way I was going to get home. This man at the Southwest counter saw me crying hysterically on the phone with my mother and asked if he could help me out. I told him my story and he immediately went to look for a flight for me, even checking competitor flights. He found me one with them at $150 THAT DAY and immediately booked me on it. He went on to talk to my mother on my phone stating that he had a daughter my age and was very upset that American Airlines didn't help me at all to find a new way to get home. So, later that afternoon, I made it safely home.

                            SOUTHWEST RULES!!
Wow, that is nice!! Yeah, people can be jerks at the airport and I would of gotten that lady's name and sent a very nasty letter to the manager and everyone else about her and her stupidity about the hour later rule! What a #HF#JKLEFFj !! and a ***** and **** son of **** idiot hahha I just like using the **** . Sorry but you know how people can be son of a **** ok I'll stop But aww that is soo sweet, see you never know who's going to come and help you out when u need it the most! Personally, I like JAL Japan Airlines and EVA Air from Korea the ladies are nice! They go above and beyond with their service . Also the countries with the best service don't even accept tips. But here in the states people will give you bad service and have the audacity to expect a tip. I'll just add injury to insult and give them a penny or nothing at all! With JAL, and EVA, they are very attentive to your needs and always give you service with a smile! I like it

Oh, I sent a pretty nasty, but professional, letter to American Airlines about their service and how I was treated, no one helped me, and that I had to seek help from ANOTHER airline to get home. The best they did for me was refund my baggage costs They wouldn't refund my one flight that I NEVER TOOK because it was "out of their control"...what?? Oh well. I never fly with them anymore.
