I feel like I can totally relate to you. About a year ago my SO started to become addicted to video games. We went from talking for hours everyday to barely talking at all. I felt like the video games were consuming him and I wasn't his number one priority anymore.
I told him how I felt a million times and he didn't make any effort to change so I decided to break up with him. It was the hardest decision I ever made because I still loved him but I felt like I wasn't happy with him and I deserved someone better. Two months later, we talked and he told me that he regretted everything he did and promised not to do it again...
We've been back together for a while now and things are good... He definitely changed after the break up, the 2 months apart gave him time to think and realize on his own that he was making a mistake.
I'm not telling you to break up with your boyfriend or anything like that, just letting you know what I did but you really need to ask yourself if you're happy in a relationship like that...11.23.2007
I'm not telling you it's going to be easy.
I'm telling you it's going to be worth it.

If it's as bad as you're making it to be, I'd ask him to seek professional help. Or, if you're close enough to one of his friends or family members, ask them what they think and see if they can get him to a therapist. Granted it's only going to work if he's willing to go and admits he has a problem, but that's about the extent you can go. I'm not exactly sure his ADHD has anything to do with this obsessive behavior, but I'm not a doctor and can only go by what I know of the condition. Anyone can get addicted to anything pretty easily. But like I said, there's not much you can do beyond trying to get him some help and making him realize this behavior is destructive.
