    Overwhelmed and Exhausted...

So I already knew that today would be an overwhelming day since today was the day my SO was going to head back to his home after an amazing 10 day visit. I can't wait to write more in my blog about the visit, because having this time together continued to affirm that he and I could have an amazing future together. Today was exhausting to take him to the airport, and knowing that when I woke up this morning that today was the last day I'd see him for a whole month. I know a month isn't that long of a time period together but it's still hard.

Unfortunately, today became even more emotional when I called my mom to tell her that my SO had gone through security and his plane would be leaving in 30 minutes. Well what my mom had to tell me majorly sucked. She told me that one of her brothers, my uncle, died this past weekend. I didn't know my uncle that well and he was a really grumpy guy. In the same token he's my uncle and he was younger than my mom, only 57 years old. To myself, a 23 year old, 57 years doesn't seem that old to me.

Anyway because of those too things I am so overwhelmed, tired and had a headache. Thank goodness for medicine because my headache has gone away some. I'm going to be able to make the funeral which is this Thursday. There are two positives from a really horrible situation. One being able to see so many relatives I haven't seen for at least a couple years. Also my SO who lived on Long Island said since the funeral is near Upstate NY that he will try to visit me during the time I'm on the East Coast. I know seeing him would help me deal with this better.

So thats whats going on in my life. Any throughts or prayers for my family and I would be appreciated. Thanks again for being such a supportive community!

Well I'm happy to hear your visit reaffirmed your security and possible future with him. At the same time let me express my condolences for the loss of your uncle. Hope everything goes well with the arrangements and I'm glad your SO can be there for you at this trying time.

Wow, you have every right to be overwhelmed. I'm very sorry to hear that but with every adversity you go through it makes your stronger. What I learned from facing adversity, is even though life gets tough you still gotta do what you have to do to succeed!
