Hmmm...well, the best thing that's happened during our relationship so far was deciding to Skype regularly, which has been going on most of the time we've been together. It's brought us so much closer together, allowed us to share amazing experiences with each other, and it keeps the distance from seeming too overwhelming.
The best thing that I'm learning from my LDR? Patience. I've learned that there are things worth waiting for, however long it takes, and that I am strong enough to survive the wait, even though it's tough at times. But my SO is more than worth it, and I am so grateful to know he feels the same about me.
