I recently went for CD to LD because of a job change. It's about a 2 hour drive, so most people don't think it's much of a distance, but I definitely feel every mile between us. I've learned that communication and creativity are key. We've had quite a few fights because of miscommunication. But in the month he's been gone, it's amazing how close we've become. One friend told me this could be a blessing in disguise, and I'm starting to see what she means. Good luck to the both of you

Well first welcome You can always come here for so much advice that's for sure! My boyfriend and I start off close distance too, we went to the same college, we were so happy, until he got suspended We are still just as happy, and so much stronger from the distance. We said we weren't going to break because we loved each other, and the distance would be worth it in the end. The distance isn't far for us either (about 2.5 hours), but it still is really hard, we see each other like once a month, sometimes less sometimes more, and I'm telling you know each visit you get with him will be so amazing, each visit is so special. You really learn to take advantage of the time you have with each other! Just communicate with each other that you two are both in this for real, you want to make it work, and sending each other cute little things just to show you guys still care
