Distance between cities

So... how many of you out there are wondering the actual distance between you and your lover? Well.. they are websites out there that will calculate it for you.

Just some quick things to remember... the world is 25,000 miles or 44,000 km in diameter at the equator. So anything over half way... you would technically take the shorter distance, that is unless you want to travel the long way there. :P

So anything over 12,500 miles or 22,000 km should be smaller.

oh yeah! The closer the better imo for traveling since it will be cheaper to visit each other.

Sometimes it takes road km into consideration instead of an actual straight line. For example where my BF used to live, there was 1000km of travelling distance between us, but only 700km if you drew a straight line from both our locations.

The first link wouldn't work. And google maps or something told me it was 704 miles. This one says 565!! WOOHOO. And even if he's home we're still 95. (actually more than that driving bc we can't just drive straight...there's a bunch of swampy area that all the roads go all the way around.)

So apparently road mileage makes a BBIIIGGGG difference. :P

623 miles. That's about 100 less than what the site I originally used when I came here said, nice. And technically there's only a two state difference, it's just he has to live in the middle of freaking Florida so from the handle there is forever. Not like I can drive or anything.
