How long did it take you to meet your SO for the first time?

We met really soon after meeting online. We met only a month and a half after meeting online. I was working full time then so I had the cash and I always liked going on adventures [read traveling]. Looking back, I'm glad he wasn't crazy as he possibly could have been as we met so soon. :P

We met online, realised that there was a spark and met 3 months after

me too. but two months after, though it was luck, because i had a trip to switzerland planned already when i met him online, and he lives (now i live, because e closed the distance and live together) a little bit over an hour by car to where my family in switzerland lives, so he went to visit me there, though we flirtted online before meeting, we only became a couple after dating for one month in person, because we didnt have plans to become a LD couple, it just happened we fall in love.

and we closed the distance some days after our first year anniversary. <3

We haven't met yet. My SO and I met online and have discussed plans to meet after February 2012 when he graduates from college.

I met me SO online last Feb. I am from Canada and him from USA. We were planning to met this summer, but hes parents wouldnt let him because hes going to college and they are paying alot of money for that. So we are planning to met next summer sometime in July cause our birthdays are a day after eachother in July. We dont know if we are going to met for sure, but just like last time we are hoping. I hear ya out! My SO is going to be in college for 5 years give or take and in those 5 years we will only be able to see eachother 2 times a year more or less. So overall, we are waiting 2 years to actually met. But i dont think we will be making it offical any time soon because of college coming up for the both of us. We dont want to miss out on experiences or dates if they come across. We still are very young. But we love eachother to death. So you never know. Good luck on your ldr!

We have now been dating for 17 months and I cannot wait to see him for a second time! I may be going to visit him sometime soon. I just wish we could visit for more than a few days at a time. The leaving part sucks
