I know. I understand she still loves me, and I understand that she may not want a full LDR right now. But I also know that in the time since our break up she's been with a few guys. Half a dozen at least that I know of, and the last guy they were officially bf/gf. That makes me feel like I'm...her backup! Like I'm just sitting in her back pocket to be there when she can't get what she wants from her RL guys, whether that be emotional support or whatever. I'm a person too, and I don't want to stay in this limbo anymore. I don't want to have to feel like I need to fully commit to a girl, who at this moment isn't fully committing to me, nor do I want to have to tell any future girls I date, that I am emotionally cheating on them with another girl who lives acrossed the planet. Is this really so...selfish of me?

Honestly, my last comment was spurred mostly for the direct bastardization of living without a label when i went back to read the other things said on this thread.
for your situation, i can completely see why your current dynamic bothers you, and its much clearer as you continue talking about it. Like everybody else, i suggest talking to her about it, especially about being exclusive. I just didn't like the amount of weight on wording.
sorry about that

Wow. This sounds so much like Obi and my relationship! Just hang in there, keep talking and being friends and make it a priority to meet and be together. It's not hard at all once you make each other a priorityHappily married to the little Canadian boy I never thought I'd meet in person

Edit: If she loves me like she says, then I think it's only fair that she proves it, and proves she wants to be with me.
