Heya all. am back in Texas. Returned last night from visiting Alex. Not too happy about being back but is only a little less than a month before I move to go to uni. I'll post about my trip in a bit. As of now to think about it would likely just make me too emotional. Suffice it to say it was wonderful and can't wait to go back.

Thanks y'all. I figured I should go ahead and post something about my trip. It was a week and a half and most of my time with Alex was spent going out to visit his different relatives. We went to his aunt's wedding and everyone had a great time. His family really really likes me and on the last day I was visiting with his extended family his grandma pulled him aside and said, "You bring her back." lol Made me feel good. ^^ He told her he would and that I was a keeper so... all good things.
I'll be moving to a city three hours from him on August 20th and starting uni there. It won't be the end of the distance but it will be a huge step forward. I'll continue to stick around here and sorry I'm not giving more detail on the trip. Just seems as though it'd probably bore y'all ^^;;
There is one thing I feel I should say, though. Up to this point Alex and I figured that the main problem we had in the relationship was the distance. This is true. But just as a note to myself and everyone who hasn't spent a whole lot of time in person with their SO: There are going to be problems. Talk about them. Don't not say something to try and not hurt your SO's feelings. It'll hurt worse if you don't tell them to begin with because it'll come back up later on. Alex and I had to talk a couple problems out over the trip but thankfully they were resolved. ^^Comment
