LFAD has been so good to me these past two years, i've found hope, faith, friendships and most of all kept my true love, true.
I've been a member since about december 2009. 2 months after i began my relationship - we've now been together nearly 2 years and i dont know where i'd have been without you all - definitely helped me cope with my LDR.
But the distance is ending in 2 weeks - for good. He's finally moving here. 3194 miles gone - hes living in a flat 5 minute walk from my house + i'm planning on moving in with him and finally starting our lives together - so i probably wont be on the forum much anymore as i wont need ldr help, more cdr help...
I do have a special thankyou to make to some people though - chrisiscallisto, archangel + lilybear ... great friends i have made thanks to the website! also frank and michelle obviously! fantastic people for creating this support network.
like i said, i wont be needing ldr advice anymore, but i just have one peice for you - be strong, be wise, follow your heart while using your head, respect yourself, respect the nature of an ldr, and most importantly be safe, and give yourself what you deserve.
i hope that you all will be writing a passage like i am now - having successfully become a LFAD alumni
