Hi, I was just wondering how you knew when you LDR was getting serious. So far, we have just talked over the phone a lot, he makes time to talk to me, and tonight he said he showed my picture to his friend and the friend liked my picture. With it being long distance, it is hard to tell if he is getting serious or wants us to be a couple. We are meeting really soon.

for me it was as soon as he asked me to be his girl lol, we moved kind of fast after talking for a little while i hinted at wanting more then when he asked we became a item. Im not sure if at the beginning we both were fully committed but we were exclusive, as far as not seeing or dating anyone else, i think when it became serious serious is when we moved off the game site we first talked on to sharing personal such as photos and then calling him going on web cam.
What i suggest for you is to just up front and ask what your relationship status is. You don't have to be pushy let him know your not demanding you just want to make it clear, let him know how you feel tooI love you Nathan <3

I knew it was getting serious when she said she'd love to come to Finland for a visit, and when she asked me out on an online date. We had been flirting for ages and had been friends online for a few months, both unsure of what the other one was feeling. She thought I might be flirting with her just for fun. But when she asked me on that online date, saying she doesn't even know what it means but that she wants to one, we started revealing more of what we felt to each other."Everyone smiles in the same language."

My LDR began as a 4 month CDR during which we spent nearly every day of the last 2 months of the CDR together. So I think I knew before it became an LDR. I just knew I wanted to be will her forever. I think she took a longer time during our LDR getting to that same point. I do know that we're both there for sure considering that we just got engaged.

As soon as he told that he was going to visit me, I got a feeling that things were about to get serious. After his first visit, both of us knew that we didn't want dating only but we would like to go further than that. Our convos have involved topics about each of our future plans, living conditions and job opportunities in our countries, views on religion and family, etc. It all just happened.

I think it will be when he want me to visit him in Germany. He pay for my flight, and he try his hard to always be there on my visit. He don't really want people to get in to his life... he said to me once when first time we met, he like to be by him self-on his cocoon. But, he open his apartment door for me, he let me into his life and let me create lots of mess there he let me borrow his beloved "tablet" that he love dearly... he put me before him self... its more than the word "i love you" that's when i know he is really serious with me...

My SO and I met after a couple months of talking to each other. Then when he came to visit he asked if I could be his girlfriend (yes, of course). After a month of dating, we both had a feeling that the relationship was only headed up and that it will only get brighter. We've talked about the future and him moving closer. He's from Canada and I'm from the States, so he wants to try his hardest to possibly live in the States. It will be tough but he said he would do anything to be closer even if he were to live on the border of Canada. I'd say it's pretty damn serious.. and the future looks bright for him and I.
Overall, it's just the feelings we get between each other and that we always plan to see each other that made it seem that it was serious. I knew my gut feeling was right.

We were trying to kind of hold back though we had gotten pretty serious in game. We were trying to keep it just "in game" but failing miserably. Every time we would set a boundary and say ok we are not crossing this line... it would just be burst right through, but it always felt right. Once we started talking by phone though, we knew. One question simply stated "What do you think is our next step?" and answered by him nervously with "Meeting in person" was a sure sign to me that things were progressing much faster than we had thought.
Of course, not long after we were "facebook official" and after meeting in person the first time there was no turning back. Eight months now and I'll never look back. Love him more every day and can't imagine a life without him there.Three words. Fill my racing mind. Leave me breathless. Lost in time.
Three words. Fill my endless dreams. Repair my heart. Mend the seams.
Three words. Fill your heart too. Three words pronounced. I love you.

You look in the mirror, you don't like what you see, don't believe it.
Look in my eyes, I am the only mirror you're ever gonna need.

For me and my SO, it was like our whole relationship took a turn for the better. We'd been official for about 3 months (though have had feelings for each other for atleast a year, and have been friends for over 3 years), and a lot of it was me always initiating conversations and sharing my feelings with very little in return, which was very frustrating at times. One day it was like something clicked for him and then it became constant "i love you" and "i cant live with you", and him telling me he could picture spending the rest of his life with me. But even simple things like texts from his constantly during the day just to chat, and when I'm at work always asking when I'm coming home to be with him online, cute little things like that.
And if that didn't make it obvious to me, this did:
I like to buy him lots of little gifts, just to show I'm thinking of him, and since he doesn't really have steady work, he finds it hard to save a lot of money between bills and college expenses to get me anything, and always feels bad for me getting him something when he can't do much for me in return, which doesn't really bother me, he's so sincere I can tell he would if he could. I felt bad that he would get so upset by it that I started joking with him saying that he can make it up to me with an engagement ring (we have previously discussed getting married in the future once we can be together CD), but I made sure he knew I was joking anytime I said it. Well, I made a joke a couple of weeks ago again about it when the conversation came up and he let something slip about looking at something, so I finally dragged it out of him what he'd said and it turns out he found a ring and had been making payments on it with whatever money he has left over now. It's not an engagement ring because we know that's still to come down the future, but he said it was more something I could wear everyday to show the world I was his, no matter how far away we are, and if I'm ever having doubts, to remind me that there's someone who will always love me, and can't wait to spend the rest of his life with me. He's always made me the happiest I've ever been, but after hearing that, well, needless to say, I've been the happiest girl alive for the last couple of weeksYou never forget your first love...
