I for one am very happy to have found this website/forum.
I've realized that I am not the only person in the world in a long-distance relationship.
This site is practically becoming my home away from home, full of supportive family members who are here to listen and care.
Finding this website was one of the best things that has happened to me.
It lets me know that I'm not alone. (:

I feel the same way, I found this site by googling things I can do with my SO, I found those bracelets then decided to start posting on the forum. People are very nice and helpful and I feel better knowing theres people here I can relate to and that can help me and also people I can perhaps help as well.

yeah i find this site comforting, escpecially before me and my SO met, because i didn't really have anyone to talk or vent to because most of my family was and sometime still is judgemnental, so im glad i found this site its so great

Could not agree more. all my friends are single married and are with their husbands and kids. None of them have ever been in a long distance relationship so they can't give me the best advice. I log on here and I am amazed How many topics that I have dealt with and it never ceases to amaze how many other on here have. Its great source of info and also a great place to talk about your long distance lessons learned. Thank goodness for LFAD!

yess i couldn't agree more. this site is amazing. when my SO and i first joined this site we had only been dating for less than 3 months.. and now we've been together for a year and 3 months. and i really couldn't have gotten through it without this site and the people on here. i feel you all are like my family, and if i need advice i know exactly who to go to! now my SO and i are closing the distance in a week, and i'm so happy we got through it, but most importantly, so happy everyone on here helped me

It's always nice to see new faces on here This site has been pretty much a life saver for myself and my SO and I don't honestly know where we would be without it. Everyone is so friendly and helpful, I felt welcome from the first moment I joined the forums It's nice not to know you're not the only one in an LDR, at the end of the day

I found this website when i browse a blog from google about LDR, how to cope with problems. First i thought i was a nut case if i deal with LDR no advise could help, cause its not only distance also culture differences! and none my friends had these.

Went hear and read the forums suddenly i just thought.. ohh its pretty normal.. cause other girls feel the same.. and so on! im not so open with my sisters.. you all here my sisters and brothers could share things here and you could understand because we are all in same situation *hugs* you help me a lot about my knowledge about different cultures and things that i never know here in Indonesia!

Above all, thank you to Michelle and Frank for coming up with this website. I can't emphasise any deeper how much we all feel thankful for finding this place where everybody can share their experiences, ideas and thoughts about LDR. Like other people I was looking for a website about LDR, and then found this by accident. Yup, it's obviously nice to see that I'm not alone.

I have to say, this site actually helped me to get the courage up to break the news to my friends and family about my SO lol I'd wanted to for the longest time but was afraid of how people would react, but after reading so many stories on here, I got to the point I was like "ehh, screw it, I love this kid, so everyone else might as well know about him" lol, so I was to say thanks for that, it's nice being able to finally open up about it

This site is amazing, and I wish it had been around in the Late Jurassic era when my own LDR began. I really value it, and welcome, Piglet! You're right, we are all a bit crazy from the LDR, but none of us would have it any other way!
